Expert Witness

We know that not all schools can provide the best help for your child. However, that doesn't mean that you are not entitled to that help from the school system.

Unfortunately, the school system may not agree that your child needs the help required or that it is their responsibility. This is where we come in.

We have helped dozens of lawyers in California win cases for their client against school systems that did not provide therapy or care for children in need. Lawyers come to us because they know that our IEEs (independent educational evaluations) provide the best evidence to support their cases.

Independent Educational Evaluations

"It is possible that school districts may have a legal obligation to assess your child's eligibility for Special Education services and determine the necessary support for their education. In the event that you disagree with the assessment methods or results, you have the right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) at the school district's expense. Our organization is available to provide IEE services to school districts upon request."

Compensatory Hours

Speech compensatory hours" refer to extra speech therapy sessions provided to a student to make up for missed or inadequate speech therapy sessions that should have been received as part of their educational plan. Essentially, it's the additional time a child needs to receive speech therapy to compensate for what was not provided earlier, often calculated on a "minute-for-minute" basis. Our Certified Speech Language Pathologist will provide these hours in the comfort of your home.
